OOTD 12/18 and 12/19 - Plaid Palooza

I'm in the home stretch for holiday plaid.  and I am so going to miss both my blackwatch plaid pants and my tartan plaid shirt.  I might have to wear them into January in order to squeeze in a couple more outfits.  What do you girls think?  Would that be appropriate...or do you think they carry too much of a holiday vibe?

  1. I think you can wear your tartan shirt well into Jan/Feb. Don't think the shirt is toooooo festive. If it is red with dark stripes, it's more festive. I plan on wearing mine in the next couple of months(as I just got mine so I have to justify in wearing a lot haha!)

  4. I don't think that plaid is too seasonal, especially not in the cotton. I love that first outfit, you and I are on the same wavelength with the button-down layering!

I love that professor blazer on you too - I got the original version and I don't like that the piping is more peachy than white. I think the factory version trim is more to my liking, easier to match too!

  6. I actually changed the buttons to an enameled kind- way better than the one on the JC school boy blazer- and even received compliments on them!

  7. I've contemplated switching out the buttons on a Lucky Brand jacket that I have...but I haven't been able to find what I'm looking for. Where did you find your buttons?
