Crewlet News and a Review of the J Crew Factory Stripe Lambswool Popover

Well, today's button hunt was a bust!  But, I'll keep looking...I'm not easily dissuaded when I set my mind to something.  :o)  On a more productive/positive note, I visited the Crewlet today.  Here are a few things you might be interested in:

1. All Factory Haberdashery Shirts are on BIG sale...regular $49.50 on sale for $19.99
They have solids (white, pink) as well as, stripes.  You can always use these staples, especially a good white shirt for layering.

2. If you haven't purchased the Tartan pants but are interested...they are $89.50 with 40% off...total $53.70.  These pants are so cute and well made...a steal at $50.

3. I found another shoe tee at the Crewlet.  Do I need another shoe tee?  No, but it was $14.95 with an additional 40% off and I had a 20% coupon...grand total $7.  I just had to have it...it's a shoe tee, for goodness sake!

4. The Factory Stripe Lambswool Popover...it is medium/heavy weight and has 3/4 length sleeves.  I sized down from my normal S to an XS to get rid of the excess fabric in the waist area.  I think my normal S would have worked too but I was going for a bit of the "shrunken" look.  It comes in three colors...navy/gray, black/white and navy/burgundy.  These are $69.50 with 40% off...total $41.70.
 

Oh, did I hear somebody say they liked the polka-dot scarf.  It's from Old Navy and reminds me a lot of the Boden polka dot version from a couple of years ago.  It was a mere $13.  It also came in navy and red.

    I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hoping that JC will have an additional % off sometime tomorrow or the next day - loads of items I am looking at right now!

    Wouldn't that be great...I would love an additional percent off! I really enjoyed the additional 25% off they had recently...both new and sale items...perfect! Again, please! :o)

    It's always good seeing what's going on at the Crewlet since it's so far away from me. You never quite know what you're gettin when dealing w/online pics. Thanks for sharing :)

    Isn't that the true about dealing with online pics...the colors aren't accurate, you can't tell about the fabric, etc. We got our Crewlet exactly a year ago (so glad we did)...before that the closest was about two hours away. Now twenty minutes. :o)

    I just bought the pullover online yesterday as a spur of the moment purchase (got a great deal on it!) and did a search to see how others are wearing it. I'm afraid I might have ordered a size to big - I got a medium. Oops! Anyhow, I'm so glad I found your blog - you have great style! Will def be coming back.

    Congrats! I love a great deal! :o) You may be fine...I'm usually a S and it wasn't bad. I decided to try the XS to get rid of some of the excess fabric in the waist area.
    Absolutely, come back again! :o) I do some reviews and try to post daily outfit pics.
    Also, I'm getting an i-phone in a couple of months, so the pics will be better! :o)

    Thanks for the review! This sweater is SO cute on you. I normally wear a medium in sweaters, but it just depends. My crewlet only has Small and X-Small. I'll have to go try it on. I might need the extra fabric in the waist! :-)

    Ha...you funny girl! Believe me, I know where you're coming from...my waist is my trouble area. :o) I bet you could get away with the small...hope it works!
