More Stripes?

Help!

I just noticed that there is a factory version of the maritime blazer and with the additional 30% off, the price would be $68.60.
I'm fighting myself...do I need another striped blazer? I just got the Gap sweater blazer. What do you girls think?  Is there enough difference to justify another striped jacket purchase?  Give me your thoughts.

  1. I am not a good one to provide my thoughts, because I think you and I both have a stripes problem (haha). I think the maritime blazer may be a good casual item, because it is knit, less structured and would work well with tees or as a replacement to a reg cardi. Your other blazer looks a bit more structured and may be better for the office or collared shirts, etc. See, I can justify anything for stripes. ;o)

  4. i love my maritime blazer! I think the narrow stripe pattern is different from the Gap stripe blazer. Different pattern warrants different jacket = you should purchase! :)

  6. lol, Ina, we are SO the wrong crowd to ask! I was *this* close to buying it this morning and had to step away from the crewlade. (Er, not that I didn't make several purchases.) I think it's different enough and likely lighter weight. If it's in your budget, go for it! :) Otherwise, maybe you can sock away that $70 for some of the new spring shoe rollouts.

  8. Thanks for mentioning this one! I missed out on the retail version of the maritime blazer so I'm glad this one is available. I wonder what the quality is like? I have only ever ordered one thing from Factory and it was decent, but I've heard some negative reviews from other JCAs. Like shopwithm said, I'm trying to be careful with my pennies as I know there's plenty of nice spring stuff coming out soon.

  9. Alright, chickas...I did it! I think I asked the wrong crowd too if I wanted somebody to talk me out of it. :o)

Louise, I have several factory items. It's a gamble, sometimes the quality is good and sometimes it's just not the same. My order should arrive next Tuesday and I can let you know what I think...of course, the 30% off promo will expire before then.

    1. Oh, lucky you! I heard that blazer was on sale this week in stores for $16. Crazy! I knew I wanted it when I first saw it but wasn't willing to pay $80...but thought that I was getting a deal at $50. Huh, little did I know! :o)
I've worn mine several times and always get compliments. Enjoy your super sweet (and cute :o)) deal!
