Another day, another pair of herringbone capri pants. Not that it will stop me if the right pair comes along, but I really do not need another pair of capri pants. I have jumped into this trend full force and I think I now officially own more cropped pants than I have of the full length version.
I know some think the capri pant thing for winter is a bit strange. What are your thoughts?
The length of trousers working or not depends on whether proportions are right for your height and body type, and whether you get cold or not. Capris are usually full length on me so I don't think about it ;) I think they look great on you and so cute with those shoes!
ReplyDeleteThe colors in these shoes were perfect for this outfit!
DeleteI've actually thought about trying some "tall" capris, which would probably fit me more like your capris.
I love this outfit on you!! I can hardly pull off the color red!

Thanks Crystal! Oh, I would think that you would look gorgeous in red!
DeleteI love capri's and they look great on you. I just find them more comfortable, and I like not having to hem them, as opposed to regular pants, which never seem to be just the right length.
ReplyDeleteI agree...most of my full length pants only work with heels. It's nice with the capris to have the option of both heels and flats.
DeleteLove it! Looks great.

Thanks Pia! and thanks for stopping by!!
DeleteI think the material color and textured pattern makes them suitable for winter, as long as your legs don't get cold! I usually end up wearing boots to work and switching to heels or shoes in my office. As long as its not cold in the building, why not wear something flattering and classy? :) Your outfit is very flattering on you - I say yes to capris in winter!

Lucky for me, I'm not generally cold- natured. and I live in a fairly mild climate. Sometimes, its a little cool getting from the parking garage into the building but once I'm inside, I'm fine. and besides sometimes we just have to suck it up and take one for fashion, right?! LOL
DeleteAnother fantastic outfit, Andrea! Just for reference, are those herringbone capris running large? (I'm thinking you might have just gotten even smaller -- you look wonderful!)
ReplyDeleteOh, thank you so much! Actually, I think these herringbone capris do run a tad larger...the smaller size fit me better than my normal 4 in the butt and hips (which I have none of :o)) and thanks for the sweet comment but I'm still holding steady....must be the camera on this new phone...maybe it has a skinny filter on it. LOL
DeleteThe herringbone pants look great on you and with your red sweater.
ReplyDeleteI'm also a big fan of capri pants so you won't hear any complaints from me about wearing them in the winter, or about owning too many pairs. :)
They're actually longer than most skirts, and many people wear those in the winter too.
Yep, ABC, you're the queen of capri pants! and you're right...own too many pairs?? Nah!! :o)
DeleteI love your style and I love the capris! All of them no matter the season. Thanks for sharing your style.
ReplyDeleteAwww, thanks Deanna! Thanks for the sweet comments and thanks for stopping by!
DeleteAnother great idea from you for my herringbone capris. I have the other two colors in my cart right now and I'm trying decide whether to pull the trigger. Love your outfits as always.
ReplyDeleteI just purchased the pink herringbone capris and they're a great addition to my closet, since I have very little pink. I may have to check out the brown ones as well. :o)
DeleteLove this outfit sooo much, one of my faves on you! Love that pearl necklace, so classic!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jeannie! I have worn this necklace to death! Between this pearl one and my recently purchased gold monogram necklace, I wonder what I did before. :o)
