I love all of these pieces separately and together as well.  You've heard me rave about the tippi before but the eyelet skirt is equally as nice.  I love the red...it's a true red, not orangey like the vibrant flame and such. (I like those too!  :o))  And of course the vivs are fantastic!  Wearing flats with skirts is a new thing for me but I like how the pointed toe of the viv lends a classic and elegant look without the heel.

The big graduation party for my son is this weekend, so there are lots of last minute details to take care of and I feel like I'm running around like a "chicken with its head cut off.  On the up side, maybe I'll be so busy that I won't find the time to cry.  :o)

I hope everyone had a fabulous long weekend!  I did...I spent Saturday scrapbooking with a friend and yesterday the hubs and I completed several projects from "The List".

I also became an official member of Pinterest.  I'm still learning the ropes but I've already found tons of great information...lots of yummy recipes and DIY ideas to try.  Now, I just need some more vaca so that I have the time to tackle all of these "new" prospective projects.  I guess this just means, more action items for "The List"!

This outfit has that light, airy feel to it and makes me feel that I should be kicked back in a hammock somewhere under a big shade tree with a good book, a light breeze and a big glass of lemonade. (Alas, I am not.)

I also wanted to share my new nail polish...from OPI's Spiderman Collection, Just Spotted The Lizard.

I think it's growing on me, but it's more gold than I would like...I would prefer a bit more green.  IRL, it's much lighter with more gold reflections than the image above.  Next, I'd like to try Essie's Turquoise and Caicos.

Yep, I liked it so much yesterday that I went with another blue and green combo again today.

I need your suggestions...slowly but surely, I'm coming into the twenty-first century and getting on board with the plethora of technical gadgets that are available.  I recently acquired a Kindle and I'm looking for a few good reads to download.  I think the last couple of things that I read were the Girl With The Dragon Tattoo trilogy, Water for Elephants and a book about Coco Chanel .  I like novels, biographies, mysteries...all sorts of stuff.

So, tell me...What books would you recommend?

I really like the navy and green together in this outfit, as well as, the unexpected pop of animal print. (which in my outfits, is not so unexpected.  :o))  And any day that I can wear my checks, is a good day!

I'm going to try and go by the B&M today at lunch, though I'm somewhat afraid.  I did quite a bit of damage last month, so I need to keep it in "check" this month.  Not to mention, I'm sure that we will be getting our first tuition bill any day now.  Yikes!

Today, as part of a team building/appreciation effort, our department is going over to watch a local baseball game and have lunch.  Since, I'll be in the office until noon and then head down the street to the ball park, I wanted to dress somewhat appropriately for both.

 I hope everyone had a great mother's day...Mine was excellent!  I was able to meet a friend on Saturday for scrapbooking.  Even better, when I got home, the boys had done the grocery shopping and cleaned the house....Now, that's a great mother's day gift imo.
