  1. Love your 2 outfits and the schoolboy blazer in navy is on my wish list. Also the each in tortoise...which one is yours? MK or Fossil? I saw the Target one and almost bought it, but decided to check online the 2 other brands to make a decision. Wow, my wish list still have a few items, but the $$$ is heavy! LOL
Stay safe, have a a good day!

    1. Definitely, you need the navy schoolboy...talk about a workhorse...it goes with everything!
My watch is Fossil...seems like I paid just over $100 for it last year...another great purchase!
You stay safe too! Hope you are unaffected by the storm. We are far enough inland that it shouldn't be too bad...just some gusty wind and rain.

    1. Me too, Laura...I love tweed! Well duh, the name of the blog. (head slap)
I know there are mixed opinions about the quality of the factory merchandise vs. retail. However, I'm fine with the factory items...generally, they're made with less premium materials, but I can usually get the item for about a third of the retail price.

  3. Absolutely adore your first look! You look so perfect:) I have been wanting a blazer like that for a while. How do you like the quality of J.Crew factory blazers compared to the J.Crew's blazer? I have heard factory is just as good, if not better. Hope you have a great week:) xoxo

    1. I like the factory blazers...I can get the same look of retail for a fraction of the price. I think the retail prince of wales was around $300...for mine, with discounts, if memory serves, somewhere around $90. The fit of both my retail and factory blazers are the same. The difference is in the materials and finishings. The retail blazers are generally all wool. The factory blazers are a blend. Also, for instance my retail professor blazer has leather buttons...where the factory professor has vinyl buttons. Hope that helps!
