OOTD 10/16/2012 - TWEEDle-e-dee

J Crew Tippi in Succulent Green
J Crew Factory Perfect Shirt in White
J Crew Oona Tweed Pencil Skirt
J Crew Twisted Pearl Hammock Necklace
Ann Taylor Loft Heels

You know I love tweed, thus the name of the blog!  This is a great, classic tweed skirt from none-other-than, J Crew.  It is the Oona wool tweed pencil skirt from Fall 2009...still love it!

You might remember, a couple of weeks ago, we went to visit our son at school for parent's weekend.  His university is nestled into the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, which makes for a beautiful backdrop.  Here are just a few of the pics I took with my handsome son.

    1. Oh, I was sooo excited to see him! I've actually been lucky...he and my husband have season football tickets to the NC State football games, so I've been blessed to see him quite a bit.

  4. Green is my favorite color, esp. mixed with black and white. That is an extremely elegant look. Your family pictures are so beautiful- and it looks your son has his mother's sense of style!

    1. Thank you, Jeannie! and even though he's mine, he's just as beautiful on the inside as he is on the outside!
I'd be willing to put money on the fact that you still hold a special place in your boys' heart even when they're all grown up. :o)

  9. Beautiful outfit!

When I saw the first picture with your son, I thought you'd say here's my son with his girlfriend. :)

He's a handsome young man. You'll have to ward off the girls!

    1. Hahaha...not yet. Surprisingly, no serious girlfriends yet...and I'm not complaining. He does have one little girl he seems to be talking to a little more often and such, but "supposedly" they're just friends. :o)
