A to Z - Some things about me and OOTD

I remember seeing this A-to-Z feature on several blogs some months back and I thought it would be fun to do it myself.  Enjoy! 

A. Age: 44 (as of tomorrow Tues-Aug 16)


B. Bed size: Queen...but we desperately need a king size.  We have a "small" puppy (125lbs) who sleeps in our bed.


C. Chore you dislike: All of them!  :o)  Well, I guess if I HAVE to choose, I'll go with dusting.


D. Dogs: Yes, please...I'll take two!  I'm a sucker for a cute face and sob story.   We've had the pleasure of loving two retired racing greyhounds.  Currently, we have an 8 year old golden retriever mix (aka Raleigh) and a 4 year old Mastiff mix (aka Titus)


E. Essential start to your day: OK, I know this is a big no-no, but I don't eat breakfast. (at least not on a regular basis)


F. Favorite color: This is a hard one...I love them all.  Blue, Green, Red, Orange, etc.  I'm not one of those people that won't wear something "if it doesn't go with my coloring"...if I like it, I wear it.  However, I did have someone tell me one time that I shouldn't wear ochre because it didn't make me "POP".  Seriously, she really said it!


G. Gold or silver: Both and I'm not opposed to mixing the two.


H. Height: 5'5"and 1/2


I. Instruments you play(ed): zilch


J. Job title: Cash Manager


K. Kids: one 17-year old son


L. Live: North Carolina


M. Mom’s name: Janie


N. Nicknames: Anna


O. Overnight hospital stays: Alright, hold on to your hat...I had a pneumonectomy when I was 23.  (My left lung was removed due to a tumor.)  I function normally, nobody knows unless I tell them.  I was told I'd never run a marathon, but I've often thought about doing it just to prove them wrong....I don't like to be told that I can't do something.  :o)    and when, I was pregnant with my son, I had pre-term labor from the time I was about 5 and a half months.  At seven months, I spent a couple of nights in the hospital and was sent home to complete bed rest, monitoring and medication.


P. Pet peeves: Dishonesty and loud/obnoxious behavior

S. Siblings: None...I'm an only


T. Time you wake up: My husband gives me my wake up call at about 6:30 and I usually lay around for another 10 minutes....so 6:40ish.  (Thus, the reason I don't eat breakfast)


U. Underwear: Most definitely!


V. Vegetables you don’t like: Green peas


W.What makes you run late: see T. above, being a perfectionist and finding every slow driver on the road.


X. X-rays you’ve had: Chest (see O above), Nose (car accident-air bag deployed and broke my nasal spine...who knew your nose had a spine?!) and of course teeth.


Y. Yummy food you make: Corn dip (corn,cream cheese, jalapenos, butter, garlic and milk)


Z. Zoo animal favorites: The gorillas!


AND my OOTD...hopefully you won't be frightened by my lack of make-up.  I went for a facial today so I didn't see the need to put it on just for her to take it off.  :o)
