Different Day, Same MO

Who said it was spring?  When I think of spring, the temperatures are 70ish with perhaps a slight breeze, there is lots of green accented by an array of colorful blooming flowers and robin red breast is singing his song.  Skreeeeeesh!  In reality, high's are around 40 with a brisk wind and robin red breast is no where to be seen...He would freeze his little tail feathers off.

Modus Operandi...Celebrate spring, while still staying warm.

  1. You look great in the Liberty schoolboy. I regret missing out on it - I ended up snagging the perfect shirt instead.

I know what you mean about the weather, it is rainy and f-f-freezing around here. We had to turn the heat back on!

    1. When they marked that "bad boy" down with 30% off, I pounced. I got my normal schoolboy size and when it arrived it was too tight across the back and shoulders...But, OH NO, they're sold out! Luckily when I took it in-store they offered to do a WWFIFY search even though it was on sale since the sizing was off...and the rest is history!! :o)

Glad you were able to snag the perfect shirt...this print is great! Just perfect for spring!! If it ever arrives! :o/

If it holds true, we are supposed to have some nicer temps next week. (mid 70's) I'm counting on it too...I'm determined to wear some sandals!! :o)

  4. Your "transitional" outfits all look great! The weather by me is very warm (so I can't complain) but it often goes back and forth.

I love how you styled the plaid J. Crew Boyshirt in the first pic. I just bought the same shirt yesterday because I thought it was a good "transitional plaid" due to the colors and light weight fabric.

    1. Oh you are going to love the plaid shirt! The colors are fabulous and it ooozes spring! :o) My cost per wear is dwindling as we speak. As you can see from this post...I wore it twice in one week! :o) Can't wait to see your outfit posts with this great shirt!

  6. I feel your pain on the cold weather. We are on hilton head to escape the cold and it has been great up til yesterday. Today it has been cloudy and 46 degrees. BRRR. Hoping this is the last little cold burst and then warm will settle in. The Liberty schoolboy will be so versatile Love the lace front sweatshirt and it was a bargain. Totally looks like something from Jcrew.

The Forever 21 sweatshirt was such a find...sooo cute and inexpensive! and you're so right, very "J Crew-esque"
