Last Saturday he came home and we invited some family and friends over to celebrate. If you've been around this blog for a while, you probably know that my family and I have a strong affinity for Krispy Kreme doughnuts. So what better to create his birthday cake from than KK doughnuts.

I'm sad to say that I don't think I've ever had a Krispy Kreme?!? Sounds like such a good time. You in no way look like you could have a 19 year old! ;)
ReplyDeleteNever a Krispy Kreme?? Oh the horror!! :oP I'm super excited...the town where we live is finally getting a KK...I can't wait!
Deleteand thanks for the sweet comment! :o)
happy birthday to your boy! i agree with Sky - you don't look like you could have a 19 year old! love this week's roundup but my faves are monday and tuesday! xo
ReplyDeleteOh thanks, P...you girls are so good for my self esteem! :o) I was partial to Tuesday...must be all of those polka dots!
DeleteHave I ever told you, you have never worn an outfit that I haven't loved?? Happy birthday to your son! :)
ReplyDeleteAwww, thanks Jeannie! That is so sweet!! Mmmmwah!!
DeleteAmazing outfits! I love that birthday cake!
ReplyDeleteThanks lady! You can't go wrong with Krispy Kreme!! :o)
DeleteHappy Birthday to your son! Love the outfits!
ReplyDeleteThanks Tammy! :o)
DeleteHappy Birthday to your baby! Hope you enjoyed your time with him... see the year went by pretty fast right?
ReplyDeleteThanks friend! We had a great birthday weekend!! Yep, you were right...the year flew by. (they all have a way of doing that these days :o)) He will be home for the summer in a couple of weeks. We have to go up on the 10th to move him out and bring him home....Yay!!
DeleteHappy birthday to your son! You have a 19 year old??? You don't look old enough to have one! :))
ReplyDeleteThanks Rose! Just one more year and I won't even have a teenager anymore...man, time flies! :o)
DeleteI almost fell off my chair reading that your son is 19. You look fabulous.
ReplyDeleteA Krispy Kreme donut cake - how delicious! Hot Now! Please!
Awww, thanks so much! I'm not going down without a fight! :oP
DeleteHot Now...you got it! Krispy Kremes are my weakness...I LOVE them! I'm super excited and following every step of the construction...KK is supposed to open a store in our area in late July. Woohoo!!
Love the mix of prints this week! I love the stripes under the chambray . Must try that look soon!
ReplyDeleteUntil you mentioned it and I went back and looked at the outfits, the print mixing didn't even register. I guess its become a sub-conscience thing...J Crew has taken over my mind. LOL But then again, we already knew that. :o)
DeleteGlad to see another cute outfit idea for those pink herringbone capris. My fav is Tuesday I love those tiny dot capris and keep waiting for them to come down more. Jcrew has been generous with the promos but stingy with 2nd & 3rd markdowns this year. HB to your son. Mine turns 19 in October and it is hard to believe it.
ReplyDeleteTuesday was my fav too! :o) I love the tiny dot capris...definitely snatch them up if you can.
DeleteI totally understand where you're coming from...I can't believe my baby is 19! Seems like just yesterday that he was riding his trike, playing GI Joe and for the life of me, I couldn't keep the knees in his jeans. :o)
