OOTD 5/16/2012 - Take Me Out To The Ballgame

Today, as part of a team building/appreciation effort, our department is going over to watch a local baseball game and have lunch.  Since, I'll be in the office until noon and then head down the street to the ball park, I wanted to dress somewhat appropriately for both.

 I hope everyone had a great mother's day...Mine was excellent!  I was able to meet a friend on Saturday for scrapbooking.  Even better, when I got home, the boys had done the grocery shopping and cleaned the house....Now, that's a great mother's day gift imo.

Even though this is a fashion blog...well, this is just too cute not to share. 

About a month or two ago, we had an owl nest in one of our trees.  Yesterday while we were out and about, we looked up and noticed a little face peeking back at us.  Mom had flown away to a neighboring tree, so I guess he thought he'd have a "look-see."  What a cutie!  He's about eight inches tall. and look at those fluffy, downy baby feathers.

In light of the fact that I have a strong affinity (translated obsession) for shoes, I've named him Oxford.

So let me introduce you to little Oxford the owl....
