 Today's outfit was inspired by this J Crew catalog look:

I didn't have the yellow heels, so I brought the yellow in with the necklace and went with neutral shoes.  As for the necklace, I think I'm going to remove the fourth and shortest strand...I think it will make the necklace more wearable.

I've said it before and I'll say it again...there's nothing like a chambray shirt.  It can go from the office to the playground.  I wore mine today for work and then did a quick change before heading off to Wednesday night church services.

Funny how your tastes change and evolve....I used to prefer cardigans to blazers.  However, these days I seem to be reaching for the blazers more often.  I love the look of a blazer with the cuffs flipped back or the arms pushed up!  and I'm wearing them with everything from skirts to shorts.

How about you...are you a blazer girl or a cardi girl?

Needless to say, I have mad love for tippi!  and I already have my next tippi acquisition in sight...

Review: Old Navy Boat-Neck Sweaters (Heart, Polka Dots and Stripes)

Hearts, Dots and Stripes, Oh My!  All some of my favorite things.  These sweaters are so cute and the price is just right!  $24.94 to be exact!  and I was able to get an additional 20% off, bringing the total of each sweater to $19.95.  Now you can't beat that with a stick!  Until 7/21 you can use code "ONNEW20" to receive the 20% discount and as always, if you order over $50 you get free shipping.

The fit is tts....I'm wearing a M in both the heart and the polka dots and a S in the stripes.  I like the fit of the small better.  It's a bit shorter, the arms fit better and it just offers a more flattering fit.  So I would say, go with your normal size.

The sweaters are boat-neck and are made of 100% cotton.  Soft cotton, might I add.  They are also lightweight without being overly thin.  Even in the white polka dot version, I was not exposed.

Review: J Crew Factory Slim-Stripe Tunic Dress

It's hard for me to talk bad about my beloved stripes, but this dress did me no favors.

Let's start with the positive...it won't take long.

It's made of 100% cotton and fits tts. (I'm wearing my normal S)  The fit on top was good...the arms are somewhat fitted, so if you have muscular arms that might be an issue.

The negatives:
For me, it's too short and the fit did nothing to flatter my figure.  Also, it has the little slits on both sides...don't like that either.

Have you tried this dress?  If so, what were your thoughts?
